Overview

What is a memorial page?

A memorial page on Forever in Heart is a permanent, beautifully designed digital space dedicated to one person's life. It brings together their biography, photos, military service, burial information, tributes from family and friends, and a published obituary — all in one place that can be visited and contributed to forever.

Memorial pages are publicly accessible by default, meaning anyone with the link can visit and pay their respects. Only logged-in users with the appropriate access can edit the page or leave tributes.

✨ Free to createCreating a memorial is completely free. There is no limit on biography length, photo uploads, or the number of tributes a page can receive.
Step-by-Step

Creating your first memorial

01

Go to Create Memorial

From the sidebar, click "Memorials" to expand the menu, then click "Create New". You can also click "Create Memorial" from the Dashboard.

02

Enter the full name

Type the person's full legal name or the name they were known by. This will appear as the title of their memorial page.

03

Add dates

Enter the date of birth and date of passing. These are used throughout the memorial and in the obituary. If one is unknown, you may leave it blank.

04

Add a memorial message

This short line appears at the top of the memorial page — for example: "In loving memory of a devoted mother and friend." It is optional but adds a personal touch.

05

Enter religion and occupation

These fields help personalise the auto-generated obituary. Select from the dropdown or type your own. They are optional.

06

Upload a profile photo

Click the photo area to upload a portrait photo. This appears prominently on the memorial page and in all shared links and social media previews. Accepted: JPG, PNG, WebP.

07

Write the biography

The biography is the heart of the memorial. Tell their story — childhood, family, career, passions, and legacy. There is no word limit. You can always return and expand it.

08

Add military service (if applicable)

Toggle "This person was a veteran" to reveal the military service fields. Add branch, rank, unit, conflicts, and decorations. A veteran badge will appear on the page.

09

Add burial site information

Enter the name and address of the place of rest. This appears on the memorial page and in the social media share image generated for the obituary.

10

Save and publish

Click "Save" or "Create Memorial". The page is immediately live at its unique URL. Copy the link and share it with family and friends.
